There are generally one or two reasons a tool does not appear.

1. The computer was attached to multiple screens but now is not. This causes the tool window to appear off-screen. The easiest way to fix this is to right-click the tool icon preview on the windows taskbar and choose maximize or move.
2. The tool cannot run or is presenting a message that is hidden behind another window.
