Automating Tasks using Spreadsheet Link

One of the common pain points in Revit® is amount of tasks repeated on every project without a good way to create a “template” for them. For example, creating sheets when you are constantly following someone else’s standard. Another example might be calculating room occupancy and then determining the number of toilet fixtures needed. The list goes on. There are plenty of tasks out there that take a lot of time and happen on many of our projects. Dynamo can be helpful, if you know how to use it. The problem there is that it’s constantly changing, and the scripts created need frequent updates, which sucks up all the time you saved. Thankfully, there is a tool out there that can assist with repetitive tasks and does not require script edits when there is a new version.
